Group Safety

The group must follow orders of the ride leader to have a safe and pleasurable ride.

• Must not overtake the main ride leader unless told to do so.

• Look out for potholes, animals crossing, sharp bends and obstructions on the road /

trail.

• Do not ride too close to one another where contact is prone.

• Hand signals should work its way down from the ride leader to the last rider on the

group.

• Must focus on the trail /road ahead and look out for oncoming danger.

• No music at all when in Saudi Arabia.

• You should only overtake another rider if it is safe to do so and alert the other rider

that you are doing so, tell them you are passing and which side you are passing on.

• Please descend with care, you will obviously be travelling faster, so hazards will give

you less time you have to brake hard for any reason, also shout/indicate that you are

doing so to alert all of the group.

• It is essential that you listen and watch down, indicating hazards and several vocal

indications for traffic or hazards in the road.
