Cycling Gear:
• Cycling padded shorts/tights (must be 3⁄4 length)
• Light shorts to cover the bibs (sensitive area)
• Hijrah Jersey (Will be provided and will need to be worn for all three days of riding)
• Light Cycling Jacket (rain/wind jacket)
• Cycling Cap (to be provided)
• Snood (in case of Sand storms)
• Helmet
• Cycling Shoes / Flat shoes
• Sunglasses (essential for eye protection)
• Clear glasses for night riding
• Summer Cycling Socks (3 pairs).
• Cycling Gloves.
• Mobile Phone
• Chamois Cream, Sudocrem or Cycling Bronzing Muscle Oil (optional)
• Headphones (optional)
Bike Arrangements:
• Bike Box for the bike
• Bring your own bike (preferably Road or Hybrid bike) No MTB or Electric Bike. Ensure
bike is serviced well in advance of departure
• 3-4 Spare inner tubes
Multi-Tool
• Hand pump
• 1-2 Water bottles
• Puncture Repair kit
• Tyre Lever
• Tyre Sealant & Plugs (tubeless only)
• Zip Ties
• Decent Front lights for night riding (800 lumens minimum)
• Rear lights
• Power bank/chargers for electronic devices(Egypt Air: less than 20000mah not exceed
2 pcs between 20000mah – 32000mah – total cannot exceed 32000mah must be in
Cabin luggage) Power bank must be clearly marked with how much mah output.
• GPS device
• Spare Derailleur Hanger
• Spare Tyre (not essential)
• Spare Chain and Master link
• Spare Brake Pads

Some items other riders may be willing to provide and the support van will bring some of the
items but it is your responsible to bring your own equipment to ensure your bike remains
road worthy.
Clothing and Attire:
• Ihram for Umrah
• Spare socks/T-shirts for changing
• Toiletries
• Slippers (for Ihram slippers does not cover the middle bone of the upper part of the
feet. Ideally bring flip flops)
• Evening wear such as Salah clothes and travel attire
• Cash/cards for personal expenses. Have £50-£100 in Riyals for emergency
• Insect repellent, suncream, and normal moisture cream for skincare Ihram for Umrah
• Trainers (comfortable footwear for non-cycling activities).
Hydration and Nutrition (optional):
• Energy gels for sustained energy during the ride
• Energy Bars
• Electrolytes
• Recovery drink
• Other Nutrition’s based on your own preference

• Passport (print a paper copy)
